FOH (Front of House) Audio: 7:30 am
Before Service: Complete any patching, battery wireless mics, set mics, rehearse with band. Soundcheck any video playbacks.
During Service: Mix band and spoken word sources. Stay a step ahead at all times. Anticipate what comes next.
After Service: Clean up around mix area and remove any labels from mixer that were specific to that Sunday.
Director: 7:45 am
Before Service: Review the Tech Director checklist. Rehearse music, direct cameras during rehearsal and make notes about camera shots, solos, etc. Check the television on the floor in front of the stage and make sure it is turned on. Check the Furman audio router to make sure you’re using the correct input. Prepare DVD recording of both services and make sure Capture computer is on and ready for recording.
During service: Call camera shots, play DVD’s, operate switcher.
After service: Straighten up front control room desk. Turn off all projectors in Worship Center and Chapel.
AFV (Audio For Video): 8:00 am
Before Service: Patch direct outputs to multitrack recorder, set levels during rehearsal.
During Service: Mix audio for Webcast, CD,DVD recording.
After service: Finalize CD’s and place in the in-box in the video control room.
Worship Graphics: 7:50 am
Before Service: Edit any changes to worship graphics. (Pro Presenter)
Rehearse with band for any specials and familiarize yourself with the lyrics. Work with Lighting tech to coordinate backgrounds.
During Service: Operate graphics programs for worship and special music.
After Service: Straighten up desk, throw away paperwork. Please close Pro Presenter program and shut down computer.
Stage Manager: 8:00 am
Before Service: Place room temperature water bottles for speaker close to stage. Be ready to move mic stands, Gary’s table, drama, props, etc. Check television on floor to make sure it is turned on.
During Service: Wear an intercom and listen for instruction from service director or producer. Help with a props, scenery, etc.
After service: Clean up any water bottles, turn off floor video monitor.
Lighting Operator: 7:45 am
Before Service: Check cues and timing of cues. Set any subs you may need based on any new information you may have about the service. Work with Pro Presenter tech to coordinate backgrounds with light cues.
During Service: Execute lighting cues. Stay one step ahead and constantly be thinking in terms of what to do if someone does something out of order. In other words, stay one step ahead and have a plan ready to go if things don’t go according to script.
After service: Wait for band to stop playing postlude, turn on work lights over stage, power down the lighting controller and return house lights to Unison control.
Cameras: 8:oo am
Before Service: Get tripod heads adjusted and practice camera shots. Be sure to work with director in checking anything on Worship Center stage that could present a problem in getting any shot.
During service: Operate cameras according to the director’s instructions.
After service: Secure camera. (lens cover & cover on camera)
TECHNICAL MEETING AT 9:15 IN VIDEO CONTROL ROOM WITH GARY, DIRECTOR AND CREW.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING FOOD AND DRINKS INTO THE WORSHIP CENTER. WE WILL HAVE REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE IN THE CONTROL ROOM. PLEASE USE THE GREEN ROOM AND HELP YOURSELF TO COFFEE, SOFT DRINKS, OR WATER.
ALSO, NO FOOD OR DRINKS AT PRODUCTION POSITIONS.
FELLOWSHIP METRO:
Audio: 4:30 PM
Set up microphones and run mic and audio cables as needed for instruments and vocals. Soundcheck band and spoken word mics, dvd and cd.
Operate sound and make minor lighting adjustments during service paying special attention to transitions between music, video and spoken word. Record message (sermon) to CD.
Strike stage after service (return all mics, stands and mic/audio cables to their original location).
Easy Worship – 5:15 PM
Setup new Easy Worship schedule on laptop with songs/scripture/etc. Run Easy worship for song lyrics and other worship graphics used during music or message. Run DVD for additional video content when necessary.
